RJMG Books

Series of book cover designs for social history trilogy covering Gibraltar’s history from 1704 - 1805.The book cover illustrations were inspired by the artwork of Gustavo Bacarisas with the  individuals who take the place of the vowels in the title being characters that you could find in Gibraltar in this period of history. These individuals ranged from members of the Jewish and Morrocan communities, a calentita seller and two ladies, one wearing the infamous Gibraltarian red cloak. These cloaks were made from military coats that went “missing.”
